What a great day for Mom. She got a visit from Paula, George and her grandbabies, and then a trip out to eat a very special birthday dinner at Texas de Brazil. Mom ate well, and was truly happy to be sitting at the head of a table surrounded by family, including all 3 of her children. She ate well, and seemed very lucid most of the evening. We let her splurge on a little birthday ice cream too.
On the way back to her place, she had some interesting things to say...not only that she enjoyed herself, but she specifically commented that "It was so nice to see everyone getting along. Finally. I guess they finally realized that they found the right match, and know how to talk to each other, and respect each other. That was really, really, enjoyable."
Pretty insightful, I thought. Now just wait until I type up tonight's post...
